I got asked on several interviews why all my songs are in English. Well, the answer is easy…if you look at my tour dates this year I am all over Europe and English is my best bet to carry internationaly the messages I want to communicate in my songs. I think of the songs I produce as stories I want to share with the public. Of course I love to see people having a blast on the dance floor, and I enjoy mixing live (studio can be a tad too isolated sometimes!), but what I really value is the message, the story behind. My Album “Wash My World” was really somewhat like a book with songs, with “chapters” like No Stress and Wash My World. The world we live in is surrounded by stress, I feel it around me all the time! Hence people need to get down on a dance floor. It is a somewhat primal and tribal, but a thing we all need to do to get rid of ambient stress!

As for the song Wash My World, it is a fun way to communicate an important message . If we do not do anything to preserve the environment we live in, we will destroy our planet, kill many species before we eventually disappear. Now the good news is that many non profit and governmental agencies in the world are finally waking up, as a DJ and music producer my contribution was to carry the message through Wash My world.
The next story? well my next album I guess!
Hope to see some of you during my summer tour, thank you all for your incredible support with my music!
Peace,

Hello.
So, Vero is asking why I am blogging about both protecting the environment and then continue on to talk about racing cars. Sure one could argue it might not go hand in hand.I could be racing a Prius, but it is not as much fun and the batteries are not that green either
Seriously, the car I am racing is a MitJet, the engine on it is a motorcycle engine, and the car is quite light! As far as carbon footprint it is not that bad. Sure it is not ideal, but like you said there is a little bit of Carpe Diem philosophy there…I should be racing bicycles but it is not really my thing, and it does not make me as happy as the MitJet does. Yes I do care about the environment and my part of helping is communicating the message through my music. Could I do more? Of course, but for now I will spin “Wash my world” on the dance floor to inspire people to get greener.
merci!
Hello Mister Wolf
Thanks for reading me and answer. Even in English. lol…
My comment was not a criticism : I can undertand that people have passions and beliefs and I can understand too that those two things can’t be always walking on the same road, if you see what I mean by using this image… And I agree for Prius batteries… lol again…
If I can go on beeing a little pain in you a.. (I know, it’s totally impolite), I’ve got another question for you : I’ve seen Pascal Obispo playing Captain I-don’t-remember-what on French TV. What do you think about this ? Do you think he’s only a follower, surfing on your green wave just because it is “in vogue” ?
Still goddamn boring, I know…
Thanks again : you are closer to your fans than I thought. It is a good surprise for me.
Go on astounding me, Mister DJ.
